Make crispy, cheesy, bacon-stuffed jalapeno poppers quickly in your air fryer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 thin slices bacon (for wrapping)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and white membranes using a small spoon or knife. Wear gloves if you have sensitive skin.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Spoon or pipe the cheese mixture evenly into each jalapeno half. Do not overfill.
  4. Wrap one thin slice of raw bacon around the stuffed side of each jalapeno half, securing it in place.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  7. Arrange the poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap. You may need to cook in batches.
  8. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  9. Continue cooking until the bacon is crisp and the cheese filling is hot and bubbly.
  10. Remove carefully from the air fryer and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the bacon wrapping with cooking spray before air frying.
  • If you prefer a less spicy popper, soak the cored jalapeno halves in cold water for 15 minutes before stuffing.
  • Serve with ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping.
