Make this simple, juicy baked chicken dinner tonight. This recipe coats tender chicken breasts in a creamy Caesar and Parmesan sauce for a comforting, flavor-packed meal perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, pepper, and salt until you have a smooth, creamy mixture. This is your creamy Parmesan sauce.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon the creamy sauce evenly over the top of each chicken breast, spreading it to cover the surface completely.
  5. Sprinkle the optional breadcrumbs and a little extra Parmesan cheese over the sauce layer.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Let the juicy baked chicken breasts rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For an even richer flavor, you can marinate the chicken in half of the sauce mixture for 30 minutes before baking.
  • If you want a one pan chicken dinner, add asparagus or broccoli florets to the baking dish around the chicken during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  • This dish captures classic Caesar salad flavors in a satisfying main course.
