Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds seedless grapes (red and green mix)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Place the grapes in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add the sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix until the dressing is completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the creamy dressing over the grapes. Gently fold the dressing into the grapes until every grape is coated.
  5. Cover the bowl and chill the grape salad in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the flavors to blend.
  6. Just before serving, sprinkle the chopped pecans and brown sugar evenly over the top of the chilled salad.
  7. Serve this sweet, creamy salad cold.

Notes

  • For the best texture, make sure your grapes are completely dry before mixing them with the dressing.
  • You can prepare the grape and dressing mixture a day ahead, but wait to add the pecan and brown sugar topping until right before you serve it.
  • If you want a lighter version, substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
