- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, packed
- 1/4 cup fresh chives, packed
- 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon leaves
- 1 clove garlic
- Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, water, white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper in a food processor or blender.
- Add the fresh parsley, chives, tarragon, and garlic to the processor.
- Blend all ingredients until the dressing is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides as needed.
- Taste the dressing and adjust salt or vinegar if necessary.
- Transfer the dressing to an airtight container.
- Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a thinner consistency, add water one teaspoon at a time until you reach your desired texture.
- This dressing works well as a dip for vegetables or crackers.
- You can substitute plain Greek yogurt for some of the sour cream for a lighter version.
