Make this creamy, light, and airy whipped ricotta dip quickly for your next party or snack time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 15 ounces whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish
  • Crusty bread or vegetable sticks for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the ricotta cheese, olive oil, 1 teaspoon of thyme leaves, salt, and pepper into a food processor.
  2. Process the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until the dip is completely smooth and light.
  3. Transfer the whipped ricotta dip to a shallow serving bowl.
  4. Drizzle the 2 tablespoons of hot honey evenly over the top of the dip.
  5. Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs.
  6. Serve immediately with bread or vegetables.

Notes

  • For a thicker dip, use whole milk ricotta and drain any excess liquid before processing.
  • If you do not have a food processor, you can use a stand mixer with the whisk attachment and beat for 5 minutes until lightened.
  • Substitute fresh rosemary for thyme if you prefer a different herbal flavor.
