Ingredients
Scale
1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup toffee bits (optional)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup evaporated milk
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the pie crust on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips, coconut, pecans, and toffee bits evenly across the bottom of the unbaked pie crust.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
Carefully pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients in the pie crust. Distribute the mix-ins evenly as you pour.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the center is mostly set but still slightly jiggly.
Let the pie cool completely on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before slicing. This allows the gooey filling to set properly.
Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
Notes
You can substitute crushed pretzels for some of the pecans if you prefer a stronger sweet and salty flavor profile.
For a richer flavor, use a homemade shortbread crust instead of a pre-made crust.
This pie sets up better if you chill it for several hours after it cools to room temperature.
